Being invited by Matthew to watch and help with the split was a wonderful experience, especially for my son:) I hope you'll be able to source a hive soon:)
Meg Meghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11573371198907761962noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1625835970797307834.post-37985212514985852272016-01-11T10:14:47.921+10:002016-01-11T10:14:47.921+10:00Oh wow! To me, it signifies a healthy garden when there are lots of bees around. This morning, we were all out in the garden topping up our compost bin and watching a native Blue-banded Bee buzzing around cherry tomato flowers. How it was flying I don't know because its pollen baskets looked so full they must have been weighing it down!
<brMeghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11573371198907761962noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1625835970797307834.post-70120023312233947862016-01-09T13:34:00.813+10:002016-01-09T13:34:00.813+10:00Hi Meg, bees! I often see native bees flying around my garden, but this is a whole other level:) What an exciting day for you and your son:) My daughter would love to get a beehive as well, but we are going to do chickens first. One thing at a time!!Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17803297366197086152noreply@blogger.com
